The Grades are In!!!

Posted by Scott at 07:51 PM

For the last few days there has been one teacher who was reluctant to post grades. Waiting for him to do so has been like chinese water torture for me. I swear, I've checked his website atleast 5 times a day for the last 6 days. Today at 5:00, the grades were up and I now can rest assured that I got straight A's this semester. (this is a first for me) I am really happy because I'm going to be applying to graduate school and the good grades will really help out. Either way, I can relax now. Mom and I plan to stay in tonight. We are going to watch Saturday Night Live Best of Christmas. We get to color our hair, paint our toe nails and do all sorts of mother/daughter bonding stuff. Tomorrow I am working at Quasthoff's again and then I get to do more Christmas shopping. I really like shopping for other people, I get some good feelings out of it. My favorite part of tomorrow is when Seth comes to town! Its been 5 days since I've seen him (oh, whoa is me). It will be busy this weekend with T.J.'s birthday, Cassidy and Andy's Christmas show, the Olsen family Christmas party, etc, but I am so looking forward to it!

Hey Suzy!

Congrats on the awesome school term! That should help your odds with grad school. I remember that at Rose-Hulman the only time I got straight A's was the very last quarter. It was a bit frustrating for me because the school had a little tradition of giving you fifty dollars if you got all A's, unless it was the spring quarter. The one time I finally had managed to pull it off, and no money for it... Guess I can't complain too much since I didn't have a tuition bill.

I hope you're having a fun time being back home in River Grove. Enjoy the big holiday party this weekend. I'm sad that I'll miss it, although if I did go, I suspect I would spend the whole time just chasing the doo-bees around and keeping them out of trouble.

So have you started to think about what school you'd like to go to next year for grad studies? UNH? UMass? Dartmouth (also in NH)? *grin*

How is Seth doing? Did he also have a good school term? Are you guys having fun together this vacation? Seeing any sights in downtown Chicago?
