Good news, Bad news

Posted by Scott at 08:09 PM

Well Alyssa and Tom, your godson Michael is now feeling back to normal -- full of smiles, energy, and mischief.

Suzy, your goddaughter Abigail now has it. She was feeling good most of the day but the stomach bug suddenly kicked in big time around 4PM this afternoon. She seems pretty emptied out for now. We put her down to bed on the early side tonight and hope that she's over it tomorrow morning. *fingers crossed*

We are praying hard that neither Michelle nor I get this. It's not good when the parents get knocked off their feet hugging a bucket. "Please God, please no!"

Michelle called her Grandma Tesoriero last weekend. We always get a kick out of how her grandma always seems to ask "You're done after this one, right?" "You know you could do something about it, right?"

Today our cat George had dentistry work done at the vet. It's hard to get motivated to spend that kind of money on a common house cat. With my other cats we never bothered with such an expensive procedure. George had already naturally lost 7 teeth due to decay and his existing teeth showed need for treatment. While he was knocked out they cleaned his teeth but also extracted another 3 that needed it. Perhaps we should rename him to "Lucky".

It is wicked cold out tonight. 5°F ; Wind Chill: -11°F . Being the procrastinator that I am, I had to fill my car with gasoline on my drive home. Whoa! I really wish I had done something during the sunny afternoon. It was biting cold out there while holding the pump. This has got to pass soon.

Hey Scott- blow Abby a kiss for me! I hope she feels better soon. And it's good to hear someone spend money on a cat. Mom and Dad thought Chris and I were crazy when we spent money on Dum Dum's surgery. I just never new cat's needed dental work!
