Nothing really exciting

Posted by Scott at 09:16 AM

Half of our family is sick and we are located in 3 different areas, whats the deal? I hope Alyssa is doing better and I hope Mom feels better soon, as well. As for what's up with me? Not much. No one has written here in a while so I felt I should.
Valentine's Day was nice. Seth sent me a dozen pink and white roses at work. I was really excited and all the other girls that worked there were, too. Seth and I didn't do much. We went to Chile's and rented a movie. The bad weather started hitting us that night, so it wasn't a good idea to go anywhere. It kept up until late last night. I believe it is over now. It was aweful. You couldn't drive anywhere.
So, I had to work at the Vagina Monologue's last night and, thus, had to walk there because of the roads. I'm guessing everyone has heard of this play? This is the third year it has toured at ISU and I have wanted to see it in the past and never had the chance to go. Actually, I was volunteering for Stepping Stones. 15% of the money made at the show is going to be given to us. Three other girls were supposed to show up and didn't. Luckily, my super nice boyfriend gave in and came with me. He was worried he would be the only guy in there but surprisingly, there were a lot of other guys there and they were all being dragged in by their girlfriends. I don't know if I would suggest everyone see it. I'm just glad I didn't audition for it last semester because now that I know what it's about, there would have been no way I would have asked my family to come see me.
Today we are supposed to meet Seth's parents and grandparents in the town of Ladd about an hour away from here. We are meeting at some big restaurant that has the "best fried chicken". We are leaving around 1:00, that is, if the roads are better.
I'll keep saying my prayers that everyone feels better soon. Miss you all!
