Food, glorious food

Good food - Yesterday was marked by a lot of good food. When I woke up Michelle made me eggs, corn beef hash, toast and coffee before I head out to work. It was a nice way to end the Ash Wednesday hunger. Mom and dad took Claire and Abby to Parker's Maple Barn for breakfast. When they returned, Michelle drove in to meet me at the office and we went to the new Indian Palace restaurant that opened recently on Amherst St. I wanted Michelle to try Indian food and they have a nice lunch buffet so that you can dabble in a lot of different foods. For dinner mom, dad, Michelle, and I did go to the Pasta Loft on the Milford oval. The only downside there was that Michelle and I were a bit overtired from lack of sleep.

Timothy - Timothy was moaning off and on a lot last night. At one point we brought him into the bed with us so that he would be comforted and rest. Michelle said he was around 103°F when she first got up this morning. She gave him some baby Tylenol and a lukewarm bath. After that we measured him at around 100°F. He's been understandably a bit lethargic. Again, I'm hoping it doesn't spread to the other 8 people in the house.

Sammy - Dad was telling me recently about Sammy's new found methane producing abilities. My emotional reaction was mixed: feeling bad for Chris and Katie and yet laughing at the same time -- picturing this little dog as 'the stealth bomber'. We hope little Sammy gets over this soon. Perhaps it's preparation for a down-the-road future in diaper changing?

And as an additional bonus, today I got to have the Pasta Loft leftover manicotti for lunch at my desk. It beats the usual brown bag lunch.
