Happy Birthday to my godson William. I hope you have an awesome day! 06:08am

Hey Catholic teachers: Today is the feast of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, patron saint of Catholic schools & the first American canonized saint. 06:13am

Hey right leaning political junkies: the Hillicackle funk (MP3) (related link) Hat tip to HotAir.com 06:31am

-2°F when I left for work, 12°F when I arrived. That's a trend I want to see continue for the next few hours. ;-) 09:17am

Clinton & Richardson both make campaign visits in my town today. I'm glad I'm down in Marlborough, MA today, not working from home. 09:19am

Had chicken salad wrap & potato leek soup for lunch. Temperatures rose another 20° to 32°F. "Keep it comin' love. Keep it comin' love..." 01:10pm

Obama, Kucinich, Richardson & Clinton are all at the HampshireDome here in Milford tonight. Eek! It's ok kids. Don't be scared. Papa's here. 06:43pm

The last major music label, Sony/BMG, is dropping DRM on tracks you purchase at Amazon's music store. How will Apple/iTunes respond? 06:54pm

I'm watching one of my top ten favorite movies, 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' with Michelle and the girls. 07:26pm

William says thanks for the birthday wishes, and for the Pokemon cards. He is having 3 friends sleep over tonite- I have decided 8 year old boys are loud! They are watching Spongebob now and discussing Mario strategies... we did find a DS thru ToysRUs.com and ordered it today
Ferris- I agree with your opinion!

I'm glad he liked them. Because of all of my mistakes, I spent more in shipping them than they actually cost. First I paid for expedited shipping. Then they arrived at my house Christmas eve instead of yours so I had to re-ship 'em. Ah well...

If you ever have multiple DS's in the house, I recommend MarioPartyDS which came out last month. It's all the fun of the MarioParty series yet done through the wireless networking ability that DS's have.

Regarding the found Kirby, I'd say just send it in a couple of weeks for Michael's 7th birthday.

"Rooney... this is George Peterson!" Chris does the best impression of this I've *ever* heard. We stopped last night after Ferris sings "Shake it up baby" on the parade route. I think we'll watch the rest this morning.

But first, I need to give the 1st floor stove a good cleaning. Its heat output is starting to go down. I usually give it a good cleaning after every ton of wood and it's been about a ton and a half since it's last cleaning.
