As predicted the kids have a snow day today. (related link) At this rate they'll never get a summer vacation.
I'm going to eat a quick breakfast and head outside to clear the snow while I can. Soon it's going to transition to a sloppy wintry mix.

Just showered up after snowblowing ~5-6 inches of snow in the sleet and rain. I should have started an hour earlier before it turned warmer.
In this weather the snowblower is prone to clogging up its chute. I felt like I was an environmental researcher taking ice core samples.
All of my clothes were soaked through with rain. Miserable cleaning weather. It'll make me appreciate Florida all the more tomorrow.
Wow! My health insurance, notorious for dodging payments, (deductibles, co-pays, etc) paid for 100% my physical last month with no hassle.

The fact that Facebook is now making it marginally easier to quit/delete your account disturbs me. Why was it so hard in the 1st place?
It takes so little to make Mighty Timbo happy, like letting him plug in my iPod and sync it. He loves gadgets!
Spent most of the afternoon debugging a large regression failure with no luck. I'd hoped I would find a clue as to why they fail. sigh
Just as I was about to give up on the debug, a sudden "ah-hah!" moment hit. Tonight's regressions should run much better.
Ran out to an ATM. Weird storm! There's all of this fresh overnight snow, but also huge puddles from all of the rain we had during the day.

I miss you so much!!!!! The sunset pictures are about 5 minutes from my grandmother's house. We would of been so close together. Can't wait until you are home! You missed out in gymnastics. It would of been more fun if you were there.
