Short Updates

So I've come to the conclusion that if there is a wart in the Apple product line, it is iDisk. I have a few other options from here. 6:15am

Dropping Claire off at school and heading down to Marlborough... 7:11am

Today looks to be a pretty vanilla day. Dropped Claire off, ordinary drive into work w/a couple of podcasts. Some debug work now. Yada yada. 9:10am

So far my IP build regressions seem to be working. I had to split the work between 32 and 64 bit machines. 11:11am

Went w/my boss & 2 co-workers to (related link) for lunch -- just a chicken wrap & fountain drink. 1:25pm

Studying something called "barycentric coordinates" which involves math I haven't seen since college. Yikes! 3:05pm

We have a big ol' diesel generator UPS just outside the office building. I wonder if this storm surge will trigger it. 3:25pm

My wife is turning into a frugal Yankee. She managed to negotiate next year's monthly propane bill from ~$180/month down to ~$130/month. 5:53pm

Did some 'back of the envelope' calculations of $$ per BTU between wood pellets and propane assuming similar efficiency conversion. 7:04pm

Practiced reading w/Michael. Put the boys to bed. Watching "National Treasure 2" and experimenting with parallel 'rsync' usage on iDisk. 8:34pm
