Michelle's taking Claire & the boys to the Y. Claire's going to take Michelle's Step class. Abby's vacuuming the van. I'm working from home. 8:45am

My newest audiobook from Amazon/Blackstone arrived. (related link) Meanwhile I'm still waiting on our local library. 1:20pm

A unique father-daughter moment. I took Claire to pick up her first glasses. She looks adorable in them. 2:43pm

Michelle must be going for some über-mom award. She's taking the kids to the pool now. Meanwhile I'm escaping my desk for the gym. 5:04pm

I'm back from the gym. My goodness! What a sweat-fest that turned out to be. I almost felt like I wouldn't be able to cool down. 7:01pm

Michelle, Claire, & I are watching 'American Gladiator'. A part of me feels cheap, but it was entertaining. Not sure we'll watch again. 9:02pm

Aunt Susie said she used to always take the boys to the pool right after dinner- she'd bring their PJs and have them shower and get ready for bed before they left ...sounds kinda nice!
Went to buy Cass her first flash drive tonight- she started her computer class today...14 weeks covered in 14 days! She got her laptop, but can't bring it home yet.
We're going to the eye dr. tomorrow- I'll have Cass call Claire if she needs glasses too!

If the shower at the pool wasn't *ice cold*, I'd say that's a good idea.

I don't know if you remember about 6 - 8 weeks ago I attended an all day low power design seminar. The 'parting gift' was a decent sized flash drive. I gave it to Claire so that she would be able to bring her school work home. It was near the end of the school year, so I'm not sure whether she ever really used it for her computer classes, but perhaps next year's computer classes will give her lots of opportunities.

Yes, have Cass give a call (before 8:30pm, of course) if she gets a similar prognosis. Claire is impressed with what a difference it is seeing with them. I tried to tell her beforehand that she'd be impressed to see what she was missing, but it took really getting them to appreciate it. Part of the reason we watched American Gladiator last night was that we were surfing through the 5 or 6 high definition channels we receive and (because there wasn't much on) it was the most interesting. With her glasses on she could see how much clearer the picture is at 1080p resolution. Without glasses, it doesn't make much difference.
