Short Updates

Posted by Scott at 11:59 PM

Good morning! It's a "lather, rinse, repeat" Wednesday. The only difference is that I didn't have to drop the girls off before my commute. They are on a delayed start. Offered up a Rosary & enjoyed listening to more "Anna". In today's chapters Tolstoy had the most poignant telling of a husband's emotional roller coaster in watching his beloved deliver their 1st child. It brought back memories and some tears. 8:43am

Venezuela's Hugo Chavez is demanding that Arizona’s law against illegal immigration be repealed. Call me crazy, but I think that helps AZ's case. ;-p. 9:52am

"Would there ever be prohibition unless there was something to prohibit? Would there ever be anti-cigarette laws unless there were cigarettes? How could there be atheists unless there was something to atheate?" --Bishop Fulton Sheen in "Wartime Prayer Book." 11:22am

My teammate and I have been banging our heads against some convoluted and uncommented code most of the afternoon. Time to step away, hit the road, and go visit the real people I do this for. 5:34pm

Got the boys tucked in bed, and Michelle & the girls setup on another "Chuck". I'm going to study for a while and get some sleep. Good night all! 8:34pm

Bookmarks I made today:

FLO TV - Live Mobile TV
Comment: Got an email that my employer is offering me a complimentary subscription to FLO TV with purchase of a device. Thinking I may get one for the van. Could make the summer drives a lot more tolerable...
Excerpt: FLO TV from Qualcomm brings you high quality television while you are on the go.

Senate Approves Cider As State Drink - New Hampshire News
Comment: I'm surrounded by orchards and dairy farms so it didn't matter to me who won the prize, milk or cider.
Excerpt: CONCORD, N.H. -- Apple cider is about to become New Hampshire's state drink. Wednesday, May 12, 2010.
