Routine Friday

Posted by Scott at 11:59 PM

Good morning! Looking forward to a bit of rest this weekend. Drove the girls to their schools -- their first time being in my rental car -- and head down to Boxborough. The audiobook I'm working through is still good, especially if you're a bit of a policy/economics wonk. I'm enjoying office bagel day as I dig through the overnight emails and sync up my local development sandbox from Perforce. 9:05am

YouTube trailer of the promoAs often happens on Fridays, I didn't out of the office until late. Last minute test submissions, meetings, weekly status reports, etc. Had a reasonable drive home, although sometimes these New England high snow banks can lead to scary merge situations. I enjoyed more of my audiobook. In particular I liked the chapter on Sweden, often held up as “socialism done right”, as it discussed the things that are rarely mentioned about their statistics. There was also a chapter about North Korea, which was down right sad because of what has happened to their population. 7:39pm

Had a pretty relaxing night. I sat by the fire watching the new episode of "Wizards of Waverly Place: Wizards vs Angels" with the kids, while enjoying some warm chocolate pudding Michelle made me. Then got the boys tucked in bed with their prayers and followed soon thereafter. Good night all! 9:00pm
