Good day! It's been a surreal morning! At Mass we had a special prayer for fathers after the closing prayer. Then our pastor administered the Sacrament of the Sick to Michelle afterwards. I then took the family for breakfast at DFE. When we got home Michelle, Claire, and I went out to mow the lawn because things have been dry enough that we didn't have to wait until mid-afternoon.
Enjoyed reading more of my novel on Michelle's Kindle. Caught up on River Grove news with my dad as we wished each other a Happy Father's Day. Michelle's about to fire up dinner on the grill. Timothy and I are considering going to a home improvement store to buy a new dehumidifier ... this time with an extended warrantee as those things never seem to last!
After dinner we went to Haywards to buy everyone some ice cream for Father's Day. When we got home, I bought the kids Angry Birds Rio from the Mac App Store. I've been enjoying my book this afternoon and am about a third through it.
