No Labor Day

A belated good morning! I'm working from home today. The girls took the bus to school, probably for the last time. Michelle dropped the boys off at school and then head into Nashua for an appointment with her radiologist.
Brr. It's only 58°F this chilly morning. Puttin' the shorts back and getting something a bit warmer. My sympathies to the midwest fighting ~100°F today.
I think I know what Timothy will be asking me this weekend: First Look at Ubuntu Linux 11.10 "Oneiric Ocelot" Beta.
UPS guy (aka my Amazon guy) just arrived. See snapshot at right. Could be a geeky weekend in between family time and yard work.

Went with Michelle downtown for lunch at Cafe on the Oval. I had New England fast food, ie. fish 'n chips with a side of slaw. We stopped by DFE on the way back for some coffee. Now back to coding and debug.

After today's jobless reports I shall refer to this upcoming holiday as No Labor Day. The shills are going to be working overtime to spin this in an optimistic light. “It would've been far worse if we didn't do the stimulus package.” or (please no) “We need another stimulus package!”
Michelle just left her radiologist consult. She got 2 fresh mini-tattoos, in addition to the 3 they gave her last year. See this relevant comic for details.

After dinner and watching the latest Tekzilla, took Claire out to Haywards to get a lime sherbet frappe and Michelle a cup of Coffee Heath Bar frozen yogurt. When I got home the boys were playing hide 'n seek with Abby and her sleepover guest. Later I got the boys tucked in bed with their prayers. For some reason I'm pretty tired so I won't be far behind.
