Shhteameh!

Posted by Scott at 11:59 PM

Good morning! We had a small bit of adventure. Michelle got up and discovered that Belle was trapped out on the back porch overnight. Weirder yet, there was a mouse on the back porch. Michelle trapped it under a bucket and later when I was dressed I brought it out to the conservation land. 8:14am

I drove over to Merrimack this morning, offering up the Joyful Mysteries along the drive. I took Joy's Saturday Step class (pdf link). It was my first good workout since the day before we left for Michigan. Good to get back into it after two weeks off. 11:10am

It was pretty sunny and hot (90°F) on the drive home. I opened up the car all the way and just listened to a podcast along the way. All public pools around Milford (both Hampshire Hills and the Milford Town Pool) are busy today with swim meets. I don't know if Michelle has anything planned for keeping cool. 11:19am

Had a long nap after lunch. Then took the boys with me to St. Patrick's for Confession. Claire called as we were driving back. We stopped at DFE for frozen drinks and then picked up Claire. It's 97°F out now, but at least it's very humid. With the winds and occasional claps of summer thunder, I think things are about to change. 3:57pm

The twins' school schedule for next fall arrived in today's mail. Remember in a few weeks they start middle school for the first time. Claire is discussing it with Michelle: the teams, the classes, the teachers they have, and how the waterfall schedule works in middle school. 4:04pm

Click to see at EtsyTook the family to dinner at the Nashua Chipotle. There was quite the rain, thunder, and lightning show this evening. Claire drove us home to get in some hours of night driving and inclement weather. Biggest dispute this time around: how the Odyssey's new wiper control works. It's the opposite of our old Odyssey's controls. 7:27pm

Found the perfect iPhone skin for my dad's iPhone 3GS. 8:03pm

Got the boys tucked in bed with their prayers. Tonight is Michelle's last night on Xeloda for a week. Now I just need to go over tomorrow's readings and get some sleep. Tomorrow it's 7am Mass with Claire & Timothy altar serving and me as lector. Good night all! 8:58pm

“Jeremiah gave this answer to the princes and all the people:
‘It was the LORD who sent me to prophesy against this house and city
all that you have heard.
Now, therefore, reform your ways and your deeds;
listen to the voice of the LORD your God.’ ”
Jeremiah 26
