Let it snow, let it snow...

So yes, we did get about 6 inches of snow over the weekend. In typical New England fashion, you could shovel the snow without needing a jacket. It seems the vast majority of NH snowstorms are followed by a calm, sunny, clear day where it hits mid-30's. For those in southern climates who might think you need a jacket for mid-30's, trust me that you don't when shoveling or snow-blowing. It's a decent workout, even if using a snowblower. If you put on a jacket under those conditions, you'll be dripping with sweat!

I took Claire and Abby to see Madeline's Christmas. Claire and Abby both enjoyed it, but it was Abby's first play at the American Stage Festival. I remember Claire didn't do well at plays and movies at this age. Lots of wiggling in the seats, asking questions, afraid of the short periods of darkness, etc. Afterwards John, Mary, and Drew (who went to see the play with us) came over. I lit a fire in the fireplace and we had a dinner from a local Chinese restaurant.
