Does Planned Parenthood help pedophiles?

Posted by Scott at 02:55 PM

I know, I know... It's a sensationalist title, but I've seen this theme come up a couple of times these past few months, despite the major media ignoring it. Consider that Planned Parenthood is the nation's largest abortion provider. They also pride themselves on privacy and confidentiality. However our laws state that medical providers, educators, and other professionals are responsible to report suspicions of sexual abuse to minors. Priests For Life and Life Dynamics have been looking into this angle. In a covert survey even if the minor girl openly admits that she (13 years of age) is pregnant by a man 22 years old, there is almost never a report to the authorities. To the contrary in some instances the girl is coached during counseling on how to avoid detection and circumvent the law. Not only does this violate the law, but if there really is abuse occurring, these types of actions protect the aggressor. Read more at this website. If we are as outraged as we are about the priest scandals of the last year, where is the outrage here? The media has a fit (justifiably so) over coverups by bishops, but is silent here! Only in modern times would abortion be treated with such kid gloves.
