Timothy's Baptism

Posted by Scott at 05:30 PM

Click to see the album...Today Timothy is no longer a little "pagan baby". (grin) Here is a small album of Timothy's Baptism. We didn't get a lot of pictures because there weren't that many extra hands to take them.

Chris and Katie's flight out was very, very delayed due to the snow storm on Friday. Instead of arriving around 7:30PM Friday night, they arrived about 3AM Saturday morning. Luckily they were able to rent a car with built-in GPS navigation to guide them to their hotel.

On Saturday, once they had a bit of sleep, we showed them around our house. We did some sledding on the back hill. The snow was near ideal for maximum distance. For the first time we had to worry about running into the house. A while later we went to Newick's for some seafood and to visit the Anheuser Busch gift shop. That evening the "grownups" went out for dinner at Milford's Pasta Loft.

I took the girls this morning to Mass and we picked up some breakfast. Around noon we all headed to Infant Jesus for Timothy's Baptism. Since we were the only ones there, we even brought Michael and Daniel. The twins behaved about as well as could be expected. Timothy didn't cry during the Baptism. On the way back to Milford some of us stopped by Walmart before Chris and Katie were to head out. Chris wanted to get the new Gameboy Advance SP (especially if they were to risk the delays that they had on the outgoing flight). I bought the DVD of Tuck Everlasting since Claire enjoyed it so much and wanted to own a copy. Shortly after we got back to the house it was time for Chris and Katie to head back to the airport. It was a short but nice visit. I'm sure they'll visit again for a longer time once the weather improves.

Hey Scott- thanks for putting up the baptism pictures and info up so quick. I was eager to see how things went. Glad everyone had a good time!

Your kids are sooooo lucky that you're Catholic. Otherwise, they'd get the full, underwater, immersion treatment!

"OK! OK! I CONFESS! I **BELIEVE**!!!!! JUST LET ME OUTTA THE WATER!!!!!"

After you guys have watched it again, I'd like to borrow Tuck Everlasting sometime as it sounds interesting. It'd also help balance out all our DVD sharing ;)
