Snowplow?

Posted by Scott at 05:59 AM

Silly idea - Thanks to Timothy, Michelle and I were up a bit early. So while we were watching the morning news and feeding him, between the plethora of political ads we saw a commercial about having a snow plow added to your truck. I joked with her that we should have that added to her Honda Odyssey mini-van. Michelle envisioned that and thought about what the neighbors would think. "Man! That woman is desperate to get the kids out of the house!"

Pirate Grace - For the third night in a row, I got home a bit on the late side last night. I went straight from work to see Claire perform with her little drama class in a story about Pirate Grace. It was the last week of Claire's drama class. We now need to decide whether she should sign up again for the next term or consider piano lessons.

Graduate studies - Congratulations to Suzy and Chris for finishing their first terms of graduate school. Enjoy your holiday break. Get enough rest and time with the family so that you are ready to tackle another term.

no more cash to keep going

Sorry to hear about the AllRite policy with regards to graduate tuition assistance. If it's any consolation, the USAF tuition assistance had a "per quarter hour" maximum payout cap. That's part of why my Masters is from Wright State U (a state school) and not U. of Dayton (private Catholic college). U.D. was significantly more expensive and above the USAF tuition cap.

Regarding the whole "four terms vs eight terms" that Suzy teased you with, look on the bright side. You're married and paying a mortgage, not single paying rent. ;-P

So is next spring quarter/semester totally out of the question with respect to graduate school, or just looking unlikely?

Well Uncle Ed just gave me a check for 650, I owe another 350 after that, so there is a chance I may be in an accounting class in the next few weeks.
