Short Updates

Posted by Scott at 11:44 PM

It's snowing hard & too dangerous to drive to Mass. I'm going to miss seeing Fr. Don wear his 'rose' (aka pink) vestments on Gaudete Sunday. 06:55am

Since we'll be snowbound, we're thinking of opening 1 new video game for the kids today. They're gonna get so many this Christmas anyway. 06:58am

It's supposedly 12°F/-11°C outside and the snow sounds like fine ice crystals rather than big fluffy flakes. I just hope it cleans easily... 07:08am

I must have watched "Who's on First" a dozen times this weekend. It's such a classic! I love it. (related link) 07:26am

We had a surprise visit from our friends, the Kucmas', who did brave the storm to go to Mass. Having an Excursion came in handy for them. 09:06am

Since the snowfall took a breather, I went out and did a 1st pass of clearing ~8 in. Now I'm going to have some sloppy Joe's Michelle made. 12:12pm

The girls & a friend made a jump ramp at the bottom of our sledding hill and were having a blast with it. 02:18pm

The boys & I played our 1st ever game of Nintendo Mario Party DS. Daniel, who initially wanted to quit, ended up winning the game. Go figya! 02:20pm

I went out to bring home some pizzas. They're doing a reasonable job plowing but the precipitation is a nasty consistency. 05:45pm

Been checking the Doppler radar periodically throughout the day. Will this weather system ever just leave so we can get back to our lives? 09:16pm
