Short Updates
Good morning all! 45F/7C feels so nice this morning. The windows were open overnight so the whole house has a refreshing spring chill. Today's highs should be ~25 degrees cooler than yesterday.
Photoshop Elements for Mac must be about to release a new version because Amazon is having a "Gold Box" deal selling the current version for $50. I'm ordering it.
Michelle and most of the kids are out. I'm going to take Claire and her friend out for some lunch.
The folks at Chumby.com are emailing me to buy one for my mom for Mother's Day. Let's see: mom has no wireless internet at home... FAIL. Sorry guys. [and yes, my wife already has one].
Michelle is back from seeing a specialist with Michael. I'm happy to report that the doctor does not think Michael's difficulties rise to the level of PDD. (related link)
Watching Michelle and Claire on edge as they watched the elimination on 'Dancing with the Stars'. I'm heading out to RCIA.
Back from RCIA. Discussed the upcoming Good Shepherd Sunday. Also discussed the 4 New Testament "John"s that people often assume are one: The apostle, the Gospel writer, the epistle writer, & the Revelations writer.
Watching 'Castle' on TiVo with Michelle.
I see that Bishop McCormack has also released a statement on today's NH state senate passage of same sex marriage. (related link)
Before I call it a night, I recall Bishop McCormack's homily at last weekend's adult Confirmation at our cathedral where he paraphrased Malcolm Muggeridge's quote: "Never forget that only dead fish swim with the stream" and used it to encourage the confirmandi.
