No-mageddon: The Washington, D.C. snow hole - This may explain why my girls were able to fly through BWI. Amazing gap. 6:53am

Good morning! Today is Michelle's second to last Herceptin treatment. In three weeks she'll have the last one and a Zometa treatment. After that I think her port can come out. She'll discuss that with her oncologist today. I'll have the boys today. We're planning on swimming and having a lunch out somewhere. Not sure what else: perhaps a book store or movie. It's ~31°F outside today but at least the high gusty winds have finally passed us by. 7:04am

I like that Wikipedia has a feature that let's you see "This day in history" entries. Here is today's for example. Of Catholic note: back in the year 1170 Thomas Becket, Archbishop of Canterbury, is assassinated inside Canterbury Cathedral by followers of King Henry II. I'm always getting Thomas Becket mixed up with Thomas More (English martyr in 1535) because both had serious run ins with the King of England, both Henry's. (Henry II vs Henry VIII) 7:25am

Love it: Ten reasons why I never wash. Must show Michelle because of some of the push back she gets at CCD. 7:47am

Michelle & I are strange. We were laughing about sitting at an infusion station at oncology whistling Monty Python's “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life”. 8:16am

Kirby's Epic Yarn siteIt's been a busy day with the boys. We went swimming, had lunch at McD's with their Christmas gift cards. We head down to Barnes & Noble and then over to GameStop where we bought a game guide for the new Kirby game. Now I'm getting debriefed about Michelle's day at oncology. As I said, in three weeks is her last Herceptin treatment. In the month after that they'll schedule an appointment with the surgeon to have her port removed. 3:25pm

I grabbed a quick nap and then head over to Golds for the Step and abs class. 7:09pm

As I pulled up back home I heard comedian Steven Wright on the radio and stayed a bit to listen to his standup. He was opening act when Wright State University opened the Nutter Center back when I lived in Dayton. He's also the uncle of Abby's very good friend Tessa Wright — her dad's brother. 7:12pm

Enjoying some reheated dinner while watching Michelle and Timothy as a team playing Kirby's Epic Yarn. Meanwhile Michael is running around the house dragging a string so that Snickers chases him. 7:38pm
