New Mass Translation

Posted by Scott at 11:59 PM

Good morning! I dropped the girls off at their schools. I listened to Tech News Today #216 on my way in. Now just enjoying a "bagel day" bagel while triaging ~110 overnight emails... 8:51am

Via CMReport: Nancy Pelosi says GOP declared "war on women" for trying to defund Planned Parenthood. It's not war. It's a kinetic defunding action. 11:01am

Via KatMcKinley: Planned Parenthood is as much about women's "health" as Tiger Woods is about fidelity. 11:18am

HTC's Net Profit Nearly Triples. Hard to believe how many HTC phones I now see for a company I hadn't heard of 5 years ago. 11:39am

For years we've heard calls from liberal feminists to “keep government out of my uterus”. Well, if Planned Parenthood gets defunded from the Federal Budget, you might say you got your wish... 2:25pm

Via ImTracyMorgan: I just thought of a brand new social networking tool for the kids...are you ready for it? It's called, “outside”. 6:34pm

Left work on the late side, as seems to happen every Friday, due to a handful of things I pushed to wrap up before closing the week. Along the drive I listened to a talk about the new translation of the Mass that will come down the pike on the 1st Sunday of Advent later this year. I think it'll cause some awkward moments as we adjust, but I like the changes a lot. Very biblical and less "watered down". I think it'll help if our pastors explain the reasons behind the changes in wording. This has been over ten years in the planning now. 7:37pm

Watched a bit of Rock a Bye Baby after dinner. It's an old Jerry Lewis movie and one of the first to have Connie Stevens. Michelle and I watched the whole thing several years ago and I was in the mood for a laugh about a man trying to raise triplets. Good night all! 9:30pm
