There Goes the Summer

Posted by Scott at 11:59 PM

Good morning! Looks like it's going to be a sweet day with sunshine and temps in low 80's. Claire took the bus to school today but I dropped Abby off at middle school. Afterwards I dropped my Jetta off for an oil change and inspection. Since I'm without wheels, I'm working from home today. Michelle is not teaching her usual 20/20/20 class at Golds this morning because she has a 9 o'clock appointment to meet and consult with her new radiologist. The radiologist she had last year has retired. Sadly her records barely had time to collect dust at Nashua Radiology. 8:34am

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I love LastPass. So many sites, so many strong passwords, none of them the same, all handled seamlessly. 9:09am

If ever there was a case for doing client side encryption of your data, DropBox's 4 hour 'login without a password' mistake is a good one. 10:54am

Took Michelle out for lunch at Cafe on the Oval. We both got to let our snark out with each other. Last week we went from "no surgery" to "yes surgery". Today we went from "2 weeks of radiation" to "5 weeks of radiation". I'm almost afraid to hear the recommendations when we get a second opinion on Friday. This was supposed to be a minor recurrence... small, very localized. As it stands now, our whole summer is shot with treatments, just as school lets out. 1:20pm

Picked up the Jetta. State Inspection-wise she's good for another year. A clean bill of health... 3:25pm

Michelle went to Golds to sub as an instructor tonight. I'm on a 5 o'clock conference call and have some tests to upload afterwards. 5:15pm

Was going to tuck the boys in but Claire needed help with geometry preparation. Good night all! 9:00pm
