A Long Day

Got the girls dropped off at their schools. Stopped by Cafe on the Oval for a quick bowl of oatmeal, some raisin toast, and OJ before heading down to Boxborough. I listened to one of my absolute favorite tech podcasts, Security Now along the way. All the kids are excited that today is their last day of school for the week.
Glad I'm not up in Manchester today. Right or Left, a Presidential visit brings a city to a virtual standstill. President Barack Obama is up here campaigning on our dime urging Congress to pass provisions of his jobs plan.
Ah, so true: “If God has trouble raising His children, what makes you think it would be a piece of cake for you?”

Had a late lunch with my spiritual director. Now back to debug...
Left work around 6 o'clock, catching up with my dad along the drive. When I got home I immediately docked my laptop to join a 7 o'clock call that ran until ~8:45pm. It made for a long day. Had a quick bite of dinner and picked up Claire from Subway. Good night all! At least I'm working from home tomorrow.
