One Last Long Night?

Posted by Scott at 11:59 PM

Good morning! So grateful it's Friday. I've had very little evening time with the family. I dropped Claire and Abby off at their schools. I started listening to the second half of "Reamde" on the drive down to Boxborough. Today is a bit out of the norm as my San Diego supervisor is in Boxborough for the first time. 8:58am

Happy 236th birthday Jane Austen! Pride and Prejudice; Sense and Sensibility; Persuasion; Emma; Mansfield Park; Northanger Abbey... 10:36am

New Tweetdeck is a native app for Windows/Mac ~ No more Adobe AIR. Might revisit it when I get back home. Hallelujah! Maybe it'll be lighter on system resources. 11:08am

The Qualcomm HQ is all ready for the Snapdragon Stadium unveiling later this morning... (related link) 11:41am

Left work on the early side. Got to see my San Diego supervisor for a couple of hours. Listened to another hour of "Reamde" on the commute home. Now I have conference calls from 5-6pm and 6-8pm. Michelle seemed so happy to see me home early until she figured out why... 4:55pm

Sprint orders all OEMs to strip Carrier IQ from their hardware – Encouraging news. 7:16pm

Finished my last conference call for the week. They're always informative, but man! I had a lot of late ones this week... Now just updating Michelle's Linux Mint netbook and catching up with Timothy as he tells me all about his recent discoveries. 8:13pm

Dozed off about midway through watching an episode of "Once Upon a Time". Got the twins tucked in bed with their prayers. I'm about to follow their lead. Good night all! 9:13pm
