Alyssa's Birthday

Posted by Scott at 11:59 PM

Good morning! Things got off to a slow start. As I was about to get dressed, I asked Michelle if she and the boys would like to join me for breakfast downtown. There was initially some push back and dawdling from the boys, but they did join me at Cafe on the Oval. 7:30am

I had a smooth drive down to Boxborough with sunny, cool temps. I listened to a CD the first half of the drive, and talked to my sister Alyssa the rest of the way down. Today is her birthday. Sounds like she'll have a nice one! 9:00am

So Ephesians 5:22-28 is offensive to women, but "50 Shades..." is a women's best selling series?! Excuse me while I have a mental circuit breaker go pop! 9:53am

Claire is still hanging out at her sleepover guest's house. Michelle is taking the boys to the pool. 1:00pm

Trying not to gross out... asking fast food workers what not to eat via Reddit. 2:34pm

In the midst of media hand wringing about Mitt's Swiss bank accounts, will they look into DNC Chair Debbie Wassermann-Schultz's own investments there, considering she's leading that charge against Mitt? 2:51pm

Wrote a good test suite in DirectX today for the first time in months. Still adjusting to the switch from writing tests for OpenGL's APIs. Now heading north to Manchester. 5:30pm

On my way home from an Opus Dei Evening of Recollection. Stopping for a bite of dinner at McD's drive through. 9:05pm

Michelle and the boys were already in bed when I got home. While eating my burgers, I watched another episode of Everybody Loves Raymond with Claire and heard about her day with her friend. Good night all! 10:00pm

so ask the master of the harvest
to send out laborers for his harvest.”
