Homecoming

Posted by Scott at 11:59 PM

example test Good morning! I feel so much better after a good night of rest. Of course, not having to rush out to work and school helps a bit. Claire has her PSATs this morning. I'll be heading to the Y in a while. 7:35am

I often put the term “subsidiarity” in my online profiles. Here's a brief, entertaining video summarizing it. Now I just need a similar video describing what it means to be a Classical Liberal. 7:39am

Had a good Step class and core strength class at the Merrimack YMCA. When I got back I picked up Claire from the high school and she told us the travails of the PSAT. 11:49am

Our grill was a bit finicky starting this afternoon because of ashes that had built up around the ignitor. Once cleaned out Michelle made burgers and hot dogs on the grill. Now she took Claire shopping for a school project's supplies. I'm folded laundry while watching Know How #16. I'm not brave enough to try what he describes. 1:50pm

It was a busy afternoon. Michelle, Claire, and I cleaned out the gutters. We all went to 4 o'clock Mass, which was a Youth Mass this weekend. I just dropped Claire off at a friend's house to prepare for tonight's Homecoming Dance. Meanwhile Abby has a friend over as they get ready for it here. We'll drop the two of 'em off and head out for dinner. 5:58pm

We finally dropped Abby and her friend off at the high school around 7 o'clock. From there Michelle and I took the boys for a pizza and gyros dinner at Milanos. I hope Claire and Abby and their girlfriends are having a good time at the dance tonight. We don't expect them home until 10:30'ish tonight. They both insisted on wearing heals so I hope their feet survive. 8:00pm

“Jesus said to his disciples:
‘I tell you,
everyone who acknowledges me before others
the Son of Man will acknowledge before the angels of God.
But whoever denies me before others
will be denied before the angels of God.’ ”
Luke 12
