Even though the twins were sick all weekend with this stomach bug, it still was pretty reasonable. The weather was very nice, especially today. Michelle took the girls swimming on Saturday morning. We had some Quikava drinks that afternoon (after the torture of looking over houses). When the boys went down to bed we ordered a pizza and ate it on the back deck.
This morning I took the girls to Mass and afterwards for lunch in the Church basement. Michelle put her finishing touches on her deck staining while the boys napped. The boys were in no condition to take to Mass. In the afternoon a friend with daughters that are Claire and Abby's age agreed to watch our girls while we looked at more houses. The girls had a great time, especially with the warm weather. After dinner I took the girls for ice cream down the street at The Big One.
The house in Milford (MLS 842662) was pretty nice and we might have made an offer on it but it was already under contract. (** again **) It seems like you just can't move fast enough in this market. Everything we would like to buy and can afford is snatched up before we even have a chance! It's getting rather frustrating.
What's even more annoying is that the seller's agents don't change their signs. They should put "sold" or "pending" or "under contract". It's only when you peel the onion a bit that you find out, "oh no, it's already under contract". Driving an hour only to find out you wasted your time! Arggh!
