I'm fairly certain I have allergy induced post nasal drip. I remember that I had this around Easter time two years ago. The doctor put me on regimen of Allegra for the day and Benadryl at night. After the seasons changed I was fine without them. I have to make an appointment with my doctor if I want to get the Allegra prescription.
Michelle had two local HVAC guys come in yesterday to give us quotes on getting central air installed. It looks like it'll run between $2000 and $2500. It's interesting to see the range of Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratios (SEERs) that are available. Considering that central air is only useful in NH for about a month or two, I don't think the additional costs for the very efficient models would pay for themselves. It might be a different story if we lived in Arizona or Texas.
What struck me this past month in househunting was how many very expensive homes that had lots of high end features didn't have air conditioning. It's hard to fathom paying $370K for a house that has no air! Some of the homes had finished their third story so that there was no attic. Imagine not having air in a home like that! Yikes! Yeah, I want to sleep up there in July...
I took Claire to her dentist appointment yesterday. She got a clean bill of health. When Michelle goes next week she'll probably bring Abby along so that Abby can see what's involved. Since Abby is going to turn 4 years old next week, it's about time to get her started on regular dental checkups.
Lastly, it's time to bring Michael in to followup on checking the development of his kidneys. A year ago they had some concern because there was a bit of reflux. It was predicted that this was developmental and that soon he would grow out of it. The followup checkup would verify that his kidney valves did complete their development and are working properly.
