That's the opening line in the description of the house we plan on seeing tomorrow afternoon. Click on the Nancy Caron link to the right and punch in MLS listing number 846102. It's a 1903 Queen Anne Victorian style home with over 3600 sq. ft. of space, including 5 bedrooms. I drive by it nearly every day on the way to work. If the inside can match the outside, it may be worth a consideration. The location is a bit questionable-- it's on the corner of Main Street and Dunstable Road in Nashua. The question is: is it real value or just a money pit?
I was watching Daniel this morning. He was getting the biggest laugh out of watching shrink-wrapped 4-packs of toilet paper go bouncing down the stairs. Michelle, who was downstairs on the first floor at the time, started to throw them back upstairs. He would then pick them up and again bring them to the edge of the stairs and watch them bounce down the stairs. As long as he only does that with packs of toilet paper, I'm fine. It's when he picks something more fragile that I'll worry!
It looks like we'll have a nice weekend ahead of us. Seeing the "grand lady" is the only house viewing we have scheduled so far. Claire is going to start a new class at the YMCA this weekend. It's a class that's supposed to expose them to the basics of a lot of different sports so that they can try out different things and get a little taste of them. If I can stay disciplined, I plan on vacuuming out the Accord. It has accumulated plenty of dust and sand from the past winter.
I'm also looking forward to seeing more of Frontier House and maybe squeezing in some reading. I was a bit surprised by the opening of episode two of Frontier House. I thought I might queue it up to watch with Claire. It opened with something along the lines of "Sex on the Frontier..." at which point I immediately pressed the TiVo main menu button and told Claire that perhaps we'd watch more later. My goodness! Has even PBS sunk into cheap sensationalism for their documentaries?!
