My boss sent me a clipping from the Boston Globe this morning. It had a writeup I found funny about the fact that certain bacteria in the stomachs of kangaroos prevents methane production and flatulence. If that same capability could be transferred to sheep and cows, it could greatly stem worldwide methane production. While I could not find the Globe story online there are similar stories here, here, and here. I just wanted to know: who found this out? Whose job involves the study of kangaroo flatulence?
In geek news Apple has started a whole new marketing campaign. It looks like it's a bit more direct than just "Think Different" that they've used for years now. The new tagline: Switch . I'll be checking out the ads later when I get home.
