Last month American Experience on PBS had a nice documentary on Ansel Adams. This evening after the kids went down, I watched another interesting documentary on American Experience, The Wizard of Photography. It was the story of George Eastman, founder of Eastman Kodak. For both shows it was so interesting finding out about the lives behind these legends of photography. In a small way I pitied George Eastman. He never married, became rather bitter and bossy, and committed suicide when his health started to fail.
Claire is enjoying writing on the computer. Soon I'll setup a weblog for her to keep practicing her writing skills. I'd like her to keep up the language development momentum through her summer vacation. Weblogging might be an interesting way for her to do it. Suggestions for a Claire Bilik weblog name are welcome!
