I got home late tonight because of my parish RCIA talk on the Eucharist (which seemed to go well). After calling my mom to catch up on news, I went upstairs to go to bed. Just before hitting the sack, I peeked in on the boys. Here it is their birthday and I didn't get to see them most of the day nor tuck them in tonight. As I peeked in I noticed that Daniel was sleeping next to Michael in Michael's bed. This is far from the first time this has occured. Michelle said they were still in separate bed when she went to bed. As carefully as I could, I picked Daniel up and moved him back into his own bed without disturbing him.
From what I could gather as I walked around our dimly lit home tonight, a lot of birthday gifts have arrived for the boys today while I was at work and RCIA. I want to thank all the parents, aunts, uncles, and relatives who sent birthday gifts for Michael and Daniel. Michelle and I don't have to spoil them -- our extended family has that covered. *grin* Just kidding around there. Seriously, though, thanks for your generosity and consideration.
It's getting late and I have to go. The kids wake up around 6AM whether I stay up late or not! This brisk weather certainly isn't making them sleep in any later either.
