I just had to write this....Alyssa, I had a dream that you had a baby boy but you didn't have the name yet. Scott, in the same dream you had a boy and named him Herman after Grandpa K. I just kept thinking 'this little boy with a name of Herman, well I guess I can get used to it'.
Nothing else is new. Hope everyone is doing well.
Dreams are very interesting! Scott, feel free to use Herman. I promise that's not one I am considering!
Sorry to hear you all are sick. Is Michelle not taking prenatal vitamins, because I thought that would protect her? I only take mine sometimes. I haven't been sick recently, but I did fall all the way down the stairs the other night and I am still feeling pretty sore from it. I also felt pretty stupid. Oh well.
We bought a new minivan last nite- I know, we were supposed to shop around, but this one seemed right. It's a 2000 Dodge Caravan Sport- it's much nicer than our Aerostar, and it doesn't have a big dent on the side.
We just got home from the Fine Arts Talent Show at St. Cyprian. The kids did great. TJ played the theme from Harry Potter and The Entertainer on the piano and Cassidy played Three Tempo Rock and Go-GO Rock on her new electric guitar. Ben played the harp, and even Peter played Old McDonald on the piano- he just started 3 months ago.
It's been very cold here too- the kids thought it was cool when it was 0 degrees. It's much warmer today, but now the snow is coming down!
Suzy- just made our reservations- we'll be ther Fri. Feb 21 and leave on Sunday.
Alyssa
We would use Herman ONLY if you signed a document promising to use "Stanley" as your next baby name -- regardless of gender.
Michelle was not as sick as the rest of us. She had some nausea overnight and some stomach cramping during the day. She found the latter a bit unnerving because it kept reminding her of early stages of child labor. I was extremely fatigued and had an uneasy stomach all day. I didn't feel like I could stand for more than a few minutes without getting light-headed.
Congratulations on the new van. Sounds very nice.
The "heat wave" is here too. We're going to hit upper 20's today. Who-hoo! Almost above freezing! Actually upper 20's and lower 30's is the norm for southern NH winters. This whole "today's high expected to be 5 with brisk winds" is more along the memories I had of Chicago winters.
We're all looking forward to mom's visit soon. Hope things go well there while we "borrow" her for a couple of weeks.
