Well it's supposed to be 55 degrees today, and that is a total heat wave for us! It's been like 5 degrees for a long time. Last night it was 35 degrees so Seth and I walked to a movie. We saw The Hours. I loved it! I don't know if I could recommend it to everyone because it raises a lot of strange issues. It is mainly about three women from three different era's; the twentie's, the fiftie's, and today. Each of the woman have some sort of mental illness. It gives a good inside look on what it's like to suffer from depression. The one problem was that each of the women had some sort of lesbian tendencies. We should have gathered something like that would happen when Seth and I walked in and saw several gay couples in the audience (including my Personality Teacher). Either way, I hope it doesn't give people the idea that if someone is gay then they must also have a mental illness, or vice versa.
Work is going fine. I am getting more and more used to changing dirty diapers. The bad thing is the older the child, the dirtier the diaper. So I am lucky I don't work with kids over 15 months.
The air in our dorm room is REALLY dry. For the past two weeks my roomate and I have woken up with soar throats. It's really doing a number on mine after all these nights. My neck now has all these knots along the side and it hurts to turn my head. I am thinking of trying to invest in a humidifier.
Trying to eat this weekend has been a pain in the neck. Our dorms have closed the cafeteria's on weekends due to 'budget cuts'. So students like me with little money get to go buy their food Saturday and Sunday. Thats probably been the biggest thief of my funds so far. I still have to go pay for my graduation application ($20.00) and pay for my transcripts. I have my first paycheck from work but I am trying to save it so I can open a bank account down here. Come April, the rent payments begin!
Anyways, I better get started on some homework. It's 9AM so it's nice and quiet and i find this the best time for me to get things done. Talk to you all later!
