Michelle is physically getting back to normal. Post partum biochemistry is a wacky thing. My resurgence of stomach uneasiness seems to be fading. The irony was that last night we toasted each other. Michelle drank from Milk of Magnesia while I was downing Pepto Bismol. Today Michelle and I went together to the grocery store. I used one of those special extended carts with the bench seat on the back. I pushed Michelle around and she told me what to get. You get some of the strangest looks pushing around a thirty-something woman.
Timothy seems to be doing well. Without getting too graphic, his diapers have transitioned to where you want them to be at this stage. He's pretty much a FIFO - Food In, Food Out, or as Stu once said of the (then) newborn Claire, he's a dBfpu - discrete Bilik food processing unit. At this stage in development, I'm rather glad he sleeps a lot.
Not much else to say about today. I cleared out yesterday's snow with the snow blower. Claire got invited to go snow sledding with some girl friends from down the street. We ordered some carry out Chinese food for dinner.
We played the Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat DVD for my mom and the kids. Claire was extremely impressed that mom and my sister Suzy had seen the musical live with Donny Osmond some years ago in Chicago. I think I might like to get the CD soundtrack for my car. There are quite a few good songs in that musical -- "Close Every Door to Me", "Pharoah's Dream", etc.
Boring day? Yes, but after the past week, I'll take boring. I'd also be happy if everyone would stay healthy for a while. I'm getting to know the local Rite Aid too well.
