A Tale of Two Cities

A photo essay comparing San Francisco to Baghdad. It's a bit slow loading at the moment because of all the sites linking to it, but I think worthwhile nonetheless.
On an unrelated story from Hong Kong:
With the burgeoning Sars epidemic spreading fear among travellers worldwide, the Hong Kong tourist board must be ruing the day it commissioned a series of magazine ads telling readers a visit to the city will "take your breath away".
Meanwhile I think this picture will be to this decade what photos of the Berlin wall coming down where in the late 1980's. I don't pretend that things are over. There is still substantial risk for our soldiers overseas, but I think this will bring tremendous hope to families here in the US as well as Iraq.
