Today Ill be leaving work early. Yesterday I had 'employee orientation training' and I fulfilled my 20 hours of work for the week. I decided to come in this morning to help out a little bit. The orientation yesterday was aweful. A lot of listening to CEO's talk about the history of Chestnut for hours on end. But hey, it worked out in the end because I get to head for home earlier.
This weekend is the River Front Fest, one of my summer highlights. Almost all of my friends will be there with me tonight. Many of the friends I rarely see with also be there. I'm hoping at some point I can take Abby and Andy over there to get some food, play some games, go on rides. Maybe during the afternoon tomorrow.
Nothing else is new. I'm just anxious to get home and spend more time with my New Hampshire family!
This weekend is River Front Fest?! Cool! I haven't been there in years!
Looking forward to seeing you this weekend. You're bringing the CRX, right? I'd like to see "the Sneaker" again for nostalgia's sake. :-)
I'm well familiar with the fun of hearing CEO's talk. Too many times I've walked away thinking they must have talents other than public speaking....
