Photos - Friday afternoon the rains from Hurricane Ivan started and they didn't wrap up until late this afternoon. After we finished dinner I started work on this album. It's a bit long. There's a few cases where I couldn't decide between two pictures with slightly different poses. In several of the pictures you'll see the work that Michelle did on the study. You also get to see Abby's very toothless smile (shown at right).

Toy room - In other news Michelle put a first coat of paint on the toy room today. She tried one color, put a few square feet down, and decided she was going to bail on it. She went and got a completely different color. I don't know how to describe the color without it sounding awful, but it's not. It's not pea green, it's not avacado, it's like those but a bit more earth tone. What can I say? I'm a guy. It's certainly a lot bolder than her first choice.

TV - Claire and Daniel accompanied me on a trip to BestBuy to get our replacement TV. The new model is an LCD model with integrated DVD player. It took quite a bit of time to get the paperwork squared away. Afterwards I took the two of them to the food court as a treat for their patience. Before we left to head back home, I took Daniel to the mall restroom. When he first heard the powerful flush of one of those optical sensored, automatic toilets, a look of panic overtook his face. I managed to calm him down long enough to finish his duty and get him dressed again. He's reminds me of how Claire and later Abby used to worry about "airport potties".

Claire's birthday - As I mentioned last time, Claire celebrated her birthday here at home with family and two good friends. They opened gifts, broke a pinata, and had pizza. I took the girls for a round of candlepin bowling. We finished it off with clown ice cream sundaes before I took Claire's friend's home.
