Photo Album - The kids had a few friends over this afternoon. While they played I worked on this album. It has pictures from my digital camera (look for the 2005-## window titles) and from dad's 35mm camera (look for the 854#### titles). I hope you don't mind that there are a lot of pictures of people sledding and working on a snowman. There are also several pictures of the family in Chicago at Christmastime. There are also a couple of the boys slouching on the couches while playing with their Leapsters. I picture them in about 15 years with Sony Playstation 7 looking about the same, perhaps with beer.

Not much else new today. Claire and I went to Mass last night - the first Sunday of Lent. I think that particular Mass always has the temptation of Jesus in the desert as it's gospel. This morning Claire and I took the boys to the local donut shop while Michelle and Abby went to Mass. The girls played with friends down the street who then played over here in the mid afternoon. We wrapped the evening up with pizza and gyros from Milanos.

Lucia - In completely unrelated but sad news, Sister Lucia, the last surviving visionary of Fatima, has died at age 97.

Lisp - After dusting off some old programming skills with Perl (of which I am still an unskilled duffer), I decided that a fun project for the next month of so would be to (re)learn Lisp. Common Lisp, to be precise. No, not lisp the speech impediment. I studied Lisp the programming language in my last year in the USAF and did some extensive hacking of Emacs Lisp when I worked at Sanders. It's a really old computer language, a bit quirky, but very unique. Could be deja vu, but definitely of little practical value. It's like a linguist saying they're going to brush up on their Latin or Greek.
