Photo Album
Photos - After the kids went down to bed, I worked on another photo album. Click on Daniel's smiling Do Bee face to see the index sheet. This album is a bit heavy with pictures of Abigail, since she had a birthday party the weekend before last. We've had a lot of rain the past few days. There are also several pictures of the boys trying out their sisters' umbrellas. I guess they don't feel their masculinity threatened at this age — walking around with such feminine designs.
The Robe - I saw an excellent movie over the weekend. I almost returned it back to Netflix without watching it because it had been sitting on the shelf for over a month. It's titled "The Robe", a 1953 film starring Richard Burton as the Roman tribune Marcellus Gallio who oversees the crucifixion of Jesus. It was a powerfully moving film without being too preachy. It won a few Oscars in its time and was nominated for a few more. There were lots of themes running through the film: guilt, forgiveness, conversion, justice, compassion. Two thumbs up.
I'd write more, but I'm feeling sleepy, partly due to the time and partly because of the workout I had at lunch hour. Enjoy the photos and see the movie if you ever get the chance...
