I'm feeling a bit like ranting.
Tiger - I had joked about this with my friend, Will, at work. I bought Apple's new OS, nicknamed Tiger (aka version 10.4), on it's release night weeks ago. Heck, I'll admit it: my receipt shows a timestamp less than 10 minutes after its official 6 o'clock availability to the public, primarily because it was easiest to drive to from the office after work. Today Apple announced the availability of the 10.4.1 update. Meanwhile I'm still here waiting for Apple to ship the CDs that they owe me as a part of their DVD to CD media exchange program. All the technology pundits are through with fawning over the release, Apple ships an update, and I'm still feeling like Ben Stein in Ferris Bueller's Day Off: “Bueller... Bueller...” waiting for my CDs to arrive in the mail while the Jeopardy theme music plays in the background.
Movie - Tonight the girls and I watched "The Three Lives of Thomasina" while Michelle took a trip down toward the Nashua Pheasant Lane Mall to shop at Linens&Things. I'm always a bit suspect of '70s era Disney films, but this one was pretty good. It focused on the story and character development without a lot of slapstick or special effects. I give it two thumbs up. I'm glad that Netflix recommended it.
