Whither this van?
Diesel - Michelle is a bit envious, in a good way, that most every week I go about 650 miles before refueling with about 13 gallons of fuel. "Why doesn't VW or somebody make a turbo diesel minivan!?!" she asks. See this?
It looks an awful lot like our 2000 Honder Odyssey. It's a turbo diesel minivan, getting about 40 miles to the gallon. The bad news? It was just announced by... wait for it... Citroen. "Citroen, I've never heard of them!" Citroen doesn't sell here in the USA. They are more prevalent in Europe as Citroen is a French company. Bah! I guess this would be a "Freedom Van" in contemporary lingo.
So be on notice car manufacturers! If you can make a van like this for the US market, you'll definitely move up Michelle's priority! At least in 3 1/2 years when she expects to be shopping for a replacement...
TJ - Best wishes to TJ for a fantastic school year. Beating out all of his Bilik side cousins and siblings, he started school today. Have fun in Michigan this weekend with Uncle Chris!
Correction: Ben, broken leg, fixator and all, started a day before TJ as a Mentor to the new Freshmen.

Man! Something is really going on with this website's ability to render updates. I have some ideas for speeding up / fixing the commenting speed, but it'll take some major surgery.
