Camera Cleanout
Photos - Since it's a bit of a gloomy day and in anticipation of "first day of school" pictures, I decided to clear out the photos that were in the camera, not there were many. Another reason is that I'm switching memory cards on that camera. The card is a pretty old one from the days when flash cards were slow and expensive. Thus there are times when I want to take a picture but must wait 5-10 seconds while the previous image transfers to disk. Hopefully the new, faster card will reduce the wait.
Saturday - Yesterday we went shopping for shoes for the girls. 
It was our first time visiting The Shoe Box, a little family run store in Amherst. I also picked up a pair of sandals — not quite Birkenstocks ($$) but still a bit on the crunchy side. Since summer is coming to a close, they were 50% off. On our way back home, we also stopped by Haywards Trading Post. There are so many nice quality, earthy things there — coats, sweaters, moccasins, sweatshirts, etc. Shopping there makes me feel like I'm back up near Lake Tomahawk and Minocqua.
