Timothy - While Timothy still has a few days of antibiotics to take, he seems to be "back to normal". Gone is the excessive lethargy. Turbo Timbo is back at full turbocharger boost these days — annoying the cats, chasing his brothers, etc.
Friday - I worked from home today. I had a bunch of simulations to build, run, and debug and a few bits of correspondence with the customers to work on. Getting back the time from my commutes was helpful. I didn't skimp on my Friday workout though. I opted to go to a favorite YMCA class that I used to attend when I worked in Nashua. It was great seeing familiar faces. For some of the newer class attendees, I initially pretended like it I was new to all of this.
As is common on Friday afternoons, the phone started to ring off the hook as friends all vied for who would sleep over at who's house. In the end we took on two additional virtual daughters. Shortly after they arrived Michelle and I took all seven of the kids out for ice cream at Blakes in Milford.
Album - After getting the boys down to bed, I had a little time this evening and cleaned out the camera and worked on this album. There's nothing particularly stellar, but a lot of Christmas time pictures. Kids opening their Christmas stockings. You get to see Timothy just before and after his hospital visit. You can see the boys' stylin' onyx black Nintendo DS Lites. You can see how acclimated Jingle is becoming.
Book - I finished the Michael Crichton book: "Next" today. I find it hard to rate Crichton. His discussion of technical issues and their cultural/societal implicatons is interesting, but so much of his character development and dialog is... I don't know... shallow, not realistic. There never seems to be anyone average. They're too sensationalized.
I joked today with Michelle that one of the things I like about going to step classes is that it gives men an appreciation for how real women really look. All shapes, sizes, conditions — and these are the women who are trying to stay in shape! It's a great antidote for the magazine covers you see in a grocery checkout lane or the women on television who've spent hours with a makeup artist. Some bits of the plot from "Next" seem in the category of "could happen" and others seem as far fetched as his book "Jurassic Park" or "The Lost World". I'd read his previous book, "State of Fear", and it had pretty much the same tendencies.
P.S. - It's 55°F at 10:30pm… in New Hampshire … in January. Go figya! New Hampshire's ski resorts are going insane with this weather.
Saturday afternoon in Milford it was 69°F. This can't last long!

I visit every now and then to keep up with the goings on of the Bilik Family.
It is amazing how the kids have grown. Claire is really getting to be quite a nice looking "young lady"!
Hope all is going well. Send me your email address. I'm sure its changed since the mv.com one.
Hi to all!
