Geeks Aplenty
Photos - The girls are out at a sleep over and the boys went to bed so I did a little photo and movie editing. You can see the latest album here. It's only a dozen pictures and there is some redundancy, but it catches some highlights of the weekend. Biggest news: The boys can now ride bicycles without training wheels and we bought a new iMac to supplement the six year old one.
Videos - In addition I have three quick movies. The first is a video of Timothy on his bike. The second is Daniel on his bicycle. The third shows our cat, Jingle, at super speed. It's no wonder he kills so many rodents!
I forgot to mention, part of the reason for going with another iMac instead of a MacMini was that the new iMacs have some of the latest Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) that guys on my floor worked on, the R600 series. See also:

The MacMinis have the "Intel Integrated Graphics" chipsets. Bah! Well, even if I never play a "serious gamer game" on the machine, it still was leveraging the technology brought about by my co-workers... even if the machine does have a *gasp* Intel processor instead of an AMD one. I don't have a lot of choice in CPUs where Macs are concerned. Perhaps someday Apple will throw in an AMD K10 Barcelona...
