I don't know what came over me. Last weekend I got in a bit of a 1970's mood and purchased these songs from the iTunes Music Store.
If you don't remember "A Fifth of Beethoven", I think it was the song that launched that transient "hooked on classics" fad where classic works get remixed with disco beats. I think I like the McCartney stuff the best. The "Low Rider" song always makes me smile. "Keep It Comin' Love" is now permanently associated with Target in my mind. When Targets started to appear here in southern NH, that was the song used in the commercials to make it seem a hip place to shop. I bought "Kung Fu Fighting" because it's on Wii Boogie and one of the boys favorite songs to boogie to.
If you feel like going down memory lane, try searching for these songs at SeeqPod. It's fun to go there if you remember an old song that you want to hear again. For instance here's Lido Shuffle in case you forgot what it sounds like.
