So our 1st Nor'easter of the year is behind us. The roads are clear and it's time to get back to work and school as usual.
Between our office network saturation and the overloading at Twitter.com and Apple.com, it's as if the internet had disappeared.
Had a good lunch earlier with my spiritual director. I've spent most of the day trying to understand and debug a customer test failure.
Had a smooth commute home and a light dinner. Put the boys to bed. Reading "True Devotion to Mary" - a Catholic classic.
We've kept the cats indoors since the first snowfall. So of course Michelle finds a mouse in our garage (off limits to the cats) tonight!
What is a spiritual director?
Posted by: alyssa at January 16, 2008 01:29 AMIt's kind of like a coach. I've met with him for about a decade, about once a month. In any endeavor where you're trying to get better, it often helps to have someone outside yourself who can judge how you're doing from an outside point of view and give you suggestions on where you can make improvements.
