Short Updates

I'd forgotten that NH TV icon, Fritz Wetherbee, had roots in Milford. Here he discusses the origin of the town's name. (related link) 06:49am

The girls finished watching all three seasons of the 1970's Wonder Woman this morning. It all started when they first saw Lynda Carter on 'Sky High'. 08:09am

We wish the girls could rent the original 'Bionic Woman', but it isn't available due to legal reasons described here. (related link) 08:14am

Back from a Step class at the Milford Golds. Michelle took the kidlets to Target so that Claire could be a birthday present for her friend. 11:04am

Reading 2 bits of Milford news: 1) flood analysis (related link) & 2) Constitutional scholars win state competition (related link) 11:09am

Ok Apple Fan Boys, just saw the girls watching an old Hannah Montana. In this episode she craves the new 'Z phone'. (related link) 03:41pm

Had a quick nap, ran some errands, and then checked the tires on both vehicles for winter pressure loss. Kids watched 'Like Mike' on DVD. 03:43pm

Every time I see the chip coolers on our high end graphics cards, I think in a pinch they could be used to replace the radiator in my car! 03:53pm

Bought the family some takeout Chinese food from Kowloon Wasabi. It's hard to feed them for less money. ;-) ~$21 w/leftovers for tomorrow. 05:24pm

I can't get over how many Garmin Nüvi models there are now! There were only 2 (US & Europe) when I bought mine 2 years ago. (related link) 05:28pm

Stopped by the car wash for a quick rinse and then picked up Claire from a birthday party. More studying before going to bed... 08:52pm

Kowloon Wasabi sounds good. When we splurge on McDonalds it's about $25 total for all 7 of us. I keep that in mind at the grocery store - it makes good meat sound cheap :-)

Hi Bill,

I know what you mean! McD's, Wendy's, BK, etc. Unless you focus carefully and order most things from the dollar menu, it's pretty difficult to feed parents and five kidlets for <$20.

Disclaimer: to be fair, Claire was away at a birthday party.
