Yawn! This morning I'm going to be paying for staying up past midnight slinging Perl code. I imagine around mid-day it'll catch up w/me.
For now though I'm heading downstairs to give our primary wood stove its last major cleaning of the season. Well, that & breaking the fast!
When Michelle breaks the fast, she really breaks the fast! Pancakes, genuine maple syrup, eggs, bacon, OJ, hot tea...
Back from a good Step class at our local gym. My legs are beginning to acclimate to the extra riser I've been using these past several wks.
Holy Cow! ~20% of polled Democrats would defect to McCain if their candidate loses the nomination?! (related link) Skeptical!
Michelle has a 1pm fitness instructor meeting & then we're considering taking the kids to Chunky's cinema/pub to see "Horton Hears a Who!".
Came in the house from running errands to the awesome smell of cupcakes baking. Mmmm...
Enjoying a burger, waiting for "Horton" to start.
Back from "Horton". Good family film, subject to multiple interpretations. Incredibly well rendered (that's the graphics guy in me speaking)
I'm still amazed that very pro-choice Hollywood released a movie with the repeated tagline "a person's a person no matter how small."
Reminiscing w/Timothy about how I used to love PBS/CTW's 3-2-1 Contact when I was a boy. (related link) I think he would've too!
If you have broadband + Quicktime, see "Horton Hears a Who!" trailers at (related link) for examples of the rendering.
Abby & I have always enjoyed (related link) , but it was more fun tonight surfing on the "big screen" via the Wii's browser.
Michelle is doing last minute Easter gift prep. Since I was up late last night, my eyes are getting heavy.
The "Horton" preview was awesome. I will be netflixing it.
