Had my periodic 'going back to my Alma Mater for a graduate degree' dream last night. Since I have a Masters, I don't know why I have these.
Today the twins have 'beach day' at school. They wear shorts, t-shirts, and later in class sit on a beach towel and read a book. Cute!
For all the kids this is their last day of school before their 9 day spring break. Lots o' excitement in the house. Poor Michelle!
Dropped Claire off at school. Had a smooth, sunny commute in. I know it's sounds a bit like "lather, rinse, repeat".
Along the drive my audio book discussed "the anthropic principle". Fascinating science from Christian perspective & worth Googling.
Just upgraded from Gnu Emacs 21.3 to 22.2. Wish I had time to look at what's new but too busy at the moment. Later...
Stepped out for a quick lunch at D'Angelos. It's a beautiful spring day here in New England. Sadly, I'm back inside benchmarking a test.
Cool! We have a corporate IT setup where all major versions of the major open source tools are available via a simple module load.
Had enough fun for today [for small values of fun, as fun->0], missing all that gorgeous weather. Logging out & heading home.
Watched an episode of "The Sarah Jane Adventures" with Claire and my folks before heading to bed.
Oh, and enjoyed some strawberry rhubarb pie that I picked up this evening from the just re-opened for the season Lull Farm store.
